In reference to "DT3103 - Double Taxation Relief Manual: Guidance by country: Bangladesh: Notes", I would like to claim tax paid on my employment. Please help me I am a Bangladeshi citizen currently resident in the UK and studying PhD since 2021. I am working 20 hours besides my studies. I have been paying tax on my income. Now, in reference to the country DT note mentioned above, I would like to claim income tax paid in last 2 years. Which form shall I sue? DT- relief seems not for me as it I am currently a UK resident. Please help.

Hi,
DT relief only applies if you are living in 1 country but possibly having to declare your income in both. as living and working in the UK, you are not due any relief here on your UK income.
Thank you.
