Hi. I decided to make a payment whilst I had a few quid spare two weeks ago. I logged in to the Guv gateway, followed the links and found make a payment. I chose on this occasion to use the first option for using an app. Previously I've used the bottom one and paid with a card. Just logged in (HMRC) to check the payment went through and its not showing. My bank statement shows a UTR number not known to me as a reference. I don't recall entering a UTR as its just box clicking to complete the payment, whilst logged in to my account. Any ideas what to do? Many thanks for looking.

No probs. I spoke to HMRC today and it seems the website had a floor. I just wondered if any others had funds misallocated to an irrelevant UTR.

Spoke to payments Dept for 55mins on the phone but all sorted now. Surprised to say but I feel the service was pretty good tbh. Thanks to the guy on the phone.
