Tax repayment

The status of my tax refund application is completed, but how can I know if my request is accepted or denied? I have received no email about it at all. Does the money automatically go into my bank account if it is successful? Thank you very much!

If this is through Self Assessment, the record will update to state if the repayment has been issued or is pending.
