Hello, I arrived in the UK in 2021. I used arising basis for my self-assessment tax return of overseas & UK interest (addition to UK employment income tax) in years 2021/22 & 22/23. With new budget phasing out remittance basis in year 2025, could I gasp not to file 2023/24 & 2024/25 tax return for those overseas+UK interest & CGT incomes (addition to UK employment income tax). Correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you, Mr. Shin

Changes to the taxation of non-UK domiciled individuals .  

HMRC is unable to provide any further detail on how these changes will apply to an individual’s personal circumstances at this time. 

Policy Is still being written and may change.
