Hello I work at an FE college. We took s group of 23 students to Switzerland. Departure from college: 8.30pm Monday 17/6 Overnight travel - with flight leaving on Tuesday 18/6 at 6.40am. I'm trying to find out what's the maximum amount that a subsistence claim can be in this case. Based on the 1 meal within 5 hours, 2 meals within 10 hours, I would be inclined to think that I could claim for the equivalent of 2 meals by the time I left the UK. If I call that meal 'breakfast', then that would cover only £7. But if I apply the number of hours from which we left, that would include £14. Which one is it? Many thanks
