In the last tax year I received a P60 from one of the companies I worked for, despite being self employed / schedule D. No tax was deducted but I was given a PAYE reference. As I'm self employed, usually when I do my tax return I declare all of my self employed earnings as one amount and pay the tax on this accordingly. Am I able to do the same again here or do I need to list the earnings from this company as a separate employment?

Hi,
If your income from this company was from self employment, you should declare this income in the self employment section. The company should not have supplied a P60, as they are for PAYE employees only.
Thank you

Thank you for your reply. Yes, this income was from self employment. I have no idea why they supplied a P60, as I told them I was schedule D and this money was not taxed at source. I was just double checking as despite the fact that I am not PAYE, the P60 has a PAYE reference number and I didn't want it to cause confusion.
