Child Trust Fund

Hi there I have sent off my form for my trust fund and It told me to send of my birthday certificate and this was about a 2 months ago and I have not heard anything or received anything I would like to know what it going on ?

Hello, I want to transfer a CTF to a junior ISA for my child, but the CTF (Leeds Credit Union) says this is not possible and that I can't do this even if I have found a JISA that accepts transfers in. Is this possible? Does it mean I cannot ever have a junior ISA for my son? It doesn't feel like it should be legal for them to hold onto this money in this way and deny us the chance to maximise returns- it defeats the object.

Hi,
You cannot have a Junior ISA as well as a Child Trust Fund. If you want to open a Junior ISA ask the provider to transfer the trust fund into it.
