Nothing to pay - help

I submitted my return yesterday at 9am but it still says nothing to pay on my account. My dad said I should pay a nominal amount of £500. Is this ok? I don't want to get a fine....

Hi,

You need to allow up to 72 hours for it to update. 

When you submitted the return online, it will have shown you in the summary box if there was anything to pay.
