Self assessment payment on account - debit card

Hi, my wife and I both made payments on account via debit card (separate ones) on the Inland Revenue website last Friday, however the money is still showing as a pending authorisation this morning. I have contacted the bank who say it is authorised and is waiting for payment to be taken. Is there an issue with payments at the moment?

It can take up to 7 working days for your payment to leave your account and appear on your Self Assessment statement.
