Missed self-assessment registration deadline for 23/24 tax year

Hi there, I didn't realize there was a 5th October deadline to register for self-assessment. Is there any way I can retrospectively register so I can complete my self-assessment by the end of January? Many thanks

You can still register for Self Assessment after the 5 October.
When the notice to file your Self Assessment is issued you will have 3 months and a week to file before late late filing penalties but the original payment date of 31 Janaury will still apply.
