I moved from HK to UK in Aug 2023 wit BNO visa, on going I still keep to work for a HK company as part-time administrator and received monthly fixed salary (equivalent not more than GBP500 per month). As I still have foreign income (saving interest and dividend to report), so I need to do self-assessment. As I don't have employment contract with this HK company, so I am not sure whether this belongs to income or self-employed income. And I do not have PAYE code for this income. My question: Where can I input those overseas part-time salary in SA100 form ? Thanks.

Hi,
As you are in the UK while working for the Hong Kong company, you are taxable in the UK on the Hong Kong income. If this is employment income, it would be declared on SA102, Employment, supplementary page with "N/A" for the employer reference.
If this is self employment, it would be declared on SA103, Self Employment. supplementary page.
Self Assessment tax returns
Thank you.
