Expenses reimbursed by employer as taxable pay

Hello, If an employer reimburses work-related expenses as taxable pay rather than a direct reimbursement, can I claim the full cost incurred of the expense on a Self Assessment? Thanks

If your employer reimburses you through your wage for work-related expenses, you cannot claim for these expenses through Self Assessment.
