Please could someone help with this. I have just had my statements back from 2 charities I have given through for 22/23 and need to know what figures to add to my Self Assessment. I have been searching for the answer and still doesn't seem to be clear what I enter. I am a higher rate tax payer and I have 2 statements, broken down as per below. Both are UK based charities and the number are from sales from goods donated through their shops. Out of these figures what do I enter into the box on the Self Assessment that is titled "Gift Aid payments made in the year to 5 April 2023: (optional)" Charity 1: Value of Goods Sold £285.50 Net Donation Amount £278.65 Gift Aid Amount £69.66 Grossed Up Amount £348.31 Charity 2: Value of Goods Sold £35.00 Net Donation Amount £34.58 Gift Aid Amount £8.65 Grossed Up Amount £43.23

Hi Darren Green.
Add the two 'Net Donation Amounts' together and enter the total in the box you specified.
The relief due will be automatically calculated and shown on your calculation.
Thank you.
