I just received a form SA302 "Self Assessment: Tax Calculation" for 2023-24. On page 2 of the form I received there is the following: "We have the following comments on your tax return: I have corrected your Self Assessment for your Income Tax Residency status in line with information we hold. If you have not informed HMRC of all details of where you have lived please do that now. You can do this with your Personal Tax Account or by visiting [HMRC website]. You are not bound by this correction and can reject it within 30 days." How do I check which corrections HMRC made, to make sure they line up with my current (outside UK) residency? I did not file the Self Assessment directly since I go through a tax accountant for this. However the letter took a long time to arrive to my overseas address and there are only a few days left in the 30-day window mentioned above.

Hi,

You would compare our calculation to the one your agent sent to you to agree and this will show any difference in come and/or allowances.

Thank you.
