Hi, need someone to clarify the tax payment for 2023-2024. I am pretty sure that I wasnt ask to pay this "future tax" last time (2021-2022). Could anyone explain to me why I need to pay extra "future tax" 2023-2024? This is because when I do the self-assement next year (2023-2024), I would have pay it anyway, wouldnt it be charged twice? My Total Income Tax due is £1,795.40 this time, plus 1st payment on account for 2023-24 due 31 January 2024 £897 "You must pay the total of any tax and class 4 NIC due for 2022-23 plus first payment on account due for 2023-24 by 31 January 2024"
