Payment pending for weeks

Hello, I have completed my self assessment for 23/24 with the help of a real person from HMRC (it only took an hour of waiting on the phone!) and now my return has been marked as 'payment pending'. Why does it say this and how long before I receive my money if I have provided my bank account details?

If shown as pending then the repayment is still being processed and not issued. Once issued it will show the issue date on your online account and from that date 5-10 working days to arrive in your account. If not issued after 10 working and still shown as pending then the repayment will have been selected for security checks.
If this happens then you will need to contact our Self Assessment team for a timescale.
