Are foreign tax credits staying the same if other tax credits are chaning?

I saw this post about tax credits: https://www.gov.uk/changes-affect-tax-credits This is likely a silly question, but am I correct that this will not influence foreign tax credits, such as those which can be claimed for FTCR under double-taxation treaties? Thank you
