I have just submitted a tax return, having first printed of the 'view your calculation' form. I then reviewed one section (without changing anything) and submitted. I received a warning that the submission code would change as I had amended the return. I assumed this was because I had reviewed the return, even though I had not changed anything. The tax return value of tax due is now approximately £190 higher than the previously calculated figure. I thought that I must have inadvertently altered a figure in the return, but all the values match between the return and the earlier 'view your calculation' form. How can the final numbers for tax due now be different when all the input values match?
