Fraud Self Assessment

Hi there, Someone got access to my HMRC account, he submitted the Self Assessment on my behalf. Now I have been told that my UTR has been suspended and I cannot submit any self assessment myself anymore. I cannot see the Self Assessment section on my account and my UTR is not there. I just want to know if I call HMRC will they be able to help me unlock my UTR, or if this will affect me in the future. Thanks,

If you can't view the UTR online the record has been locked.
If you require one in the future we may need to create a new record.
