Deduction for unpaid “money claim”

I am a UK resident and tax payer. I made a “money claim” through the court which resulted in a verdict in my favour and a CCJ for the debtor. However there is no prospect for any recovery of the money owed to me (the debtor does not have sufficient funds). Can I claim this amount as a deduction on my self assessment tax return? I am not a sole trader. Thank you
