Hello, this is my 1st Self Assessment, I have filled the SA form to 90% only. From the 'View your caculation' section, I have to pay the 1st & 2nd payment on account. If I submit the form, is the amount from "view your caculation' is the final amount, or HMRC will review it & send a final tax bill to me? Currently, I am unemployed since Decemeber 2023, & I'm can't go to work in this 2024/2025 tax year. (No employment salary, only income is come from bank saving interest, my personal allowance can cover it) Can I ask HMRC to reduce my advance payment of 'Payment on account'? Or I need to mention this situation in the Self Assessment 'Any Other information section'? If I must pay the advance payment to Payment on Account, can I ask for refund when I submit the 2024/2025 SA form next year? TIA
