My wife undertook some ad-hoc work for a few days. This incurred travel expenses that I paid for e.g. fuel for my own car, coach ticket, parking etc. Should my wife claim these expenses or should I through my own self assessment that I complete each year?

Hi,

Your wife should claim for these expenses - please see the following links and guidance which you may find useful :

Claim tax relief for your job expenses  .

Thank you .
