inform hmrc about moving overseas using self-assessment, or use separate sa109 / p85 forms

Hello, I moved abroad during the 23/24 tax year. Can i complete self assessment using the commercial software and let hmrc know about my residence status that way? Or do I have to do the p85 or sa109 forms? thanks
