I have had a letter from HMRC saying to check if I need to pay HICB for 2023-24 Obviously they only send these if they know you should pay it. Anyway it asks if your NET income was over 50k. My income before tax/NIC etc is 55k but NET is after deduction am I correct? which surely is under 50K am I correct ?
