If I already claimed the expense of the equipments and uniform, which are consumable, in the previous tax year (2022-23). Can I assume that those equipments and uniform are wipe off in the coming tax year (2023-24) and I can buy a new one and claiming a new expense? I need these items for my self employment.

I followed it at the link below about uniform, but it doesn't mention I can wipe off it and then buy a new one in the next Tax Year. https://www.gov.uk/expenses-if-youre-self-employed/clothing Clothing expenses You can claim allowable business expenses for: uniforms protective clothing needed for your work costumes for actors or entertainers You cannot claim for everyday clothing (even if you wear it for work).

Hi
If you meet the criteria for buying work related clothing then you can claim each year. The clothing has to be wholly for your self employment to qualify.
