I am trying to complete a tax return and have declared that I was employed for part of 2023-24. But I cannot then find where to input the pension I am now receiving from a previous employers pension scheme. If I say I am getting a pension the system appears to assume this is the state pension. What do I do to enter a pension as well as paid employment?

Hi,
You need to tailor your return to state you receive a pension. This then opens other boxes so that you can show that it is a private pension and not the State Pension.
Thank yuo.
