been waiting for UTR for 7 months

Hi, I had applied for the UTR in Feb 2024 as I want to claim back income tax as I invested my savings in SIPP. Its now November and i still haven't see any trace of it. The deadline for tax returns if 31st Jan . The phone helpline has a defacto answer to go online and apply and doesn't deal with my case of delays of over 8 months. Please can you advise what I need to do ? Thanks

It usually takes 4 weeks from registration to receive your UTR. As 4 weeks has elapsed, there may have been an error in your registration, you can try registering again here:
