Hello, I have been claiming the Marriage Allowance in the past. In this tax year, both my spouse and I have had a change in our income situation, and both of our incomes are now higher than the Personal Allowance, which is GBP 12,570. I understand that if I do not cancel the Marriage Allowance, the total tax amount for both of us will remain unchanged. However, I would like to ask: Am I required to cancel the Marriage Allowance, or can I choose to keep it?
