I have made some money trading forex through a prop firm. To qualify you need to pay for and pass an evaluation. Can the cost of the evaluations be offset against any profits?

Hi,
For guiance on allowable expenditure please have a look at:
CG15160 - Expenditure: categories of allowable expenditure
The cost of your evaluation is not incurred as described in CG15160 and so is not allowable for capital gains purposes.
Thank you
