Hi team, I have the following questions regarding the self-assessment and tax billing. Thanks. 1. Is it fine to submit paper self-assessment if I choose on-line self-assessment before? 2. When do I receive tax billing for tax year 22/23 if the paper self-assessment was submitted before 31 Oct 2023? I am not sure whether I need to pay tax or not. 3. If I have submitted the self-assessment but no tax need to pay, do I receive the tax billing? Best regards, WN

Hi WNWu,
1. Yes you can file a paper tax return if previously filed online.
2. If the paper tax return filed before 31 October deadline we will send a calculation before the 31 January payment date.
3. You will still receive the calculation to advise no balance to pay.
Thank you.
