Hi, my tax code changed in September after I made a SIPP investment of 10K on 5/4/24( last tax year). Is the tax code change due to the SIPP? I got tax relief due to the SIPP last tax year. The info displayed is as follows: We changed your tax code on 2 September 2024 Why your tax code has changed We changed this because: • you now get Personal Pension Payments worth £6,250 • your Professional subscriptions has been reduced from £1,613 to £1,424 • From 6 April 2024 1055T • Current tax codes From 2 September 2024 2024L Is the change correct? Does it mean that HMRC expects me to make a further payment in the current tax year? I would be grateful for the explanations. Thanks.
