Hi, I'm French and live in the UK. I'm resident for tax purposes here...However, I have a life insurance contract in France and was wondering whether (and if yes, how) I needed to declare anything to HMRC regarding this since I do not earn any money (yet) directly from it. Of course, the money is increasing year after year but I don't have access to it (since nobody died or I didn't withdraw any money). Many thanks for your help,

Hi,

As it is not generating any income there is nothing to declare. If and when it does.
