Hi, I’m not a UK Resident. Recently, I have sold my UK property and the completion was in November 2024 and I have paid the Non-Resident CGT after filling. After filling the Non-Resident CGT, I have received an acknowledgement from HMRC that my tax has been filed and at the end of the email, it says: If you need to file a Self Assessment tax return You’ll need to provide details from this return in your Self Assessment tax return. If I do not have any other income for 2024/25 apart from the sale of the property (CGT), do I need to file the Self Assessment? If I need to file, how can I file the Self Assessment for 2024/25? I would appreciate if you can please advise if I need to file the Self Assessment. Thank you.
