Hi, I successfully filed a self-assessment appeal penalty and received a cheque. I noticed that the name on the cheque is "NOT KNOWN, FIRST INITIAL OF FIRST NAME, LAST NAME" (e.g. John Doe -> "NOT KNOWN J DOE"). My Monzo is refusing to accept the cheque as it does not have my full name. Also, I have a UK Monzo which I used for payment to HMRC, why couldn't HMRC just send the refund to this bank vs sending me a cheque? Please advise as this cheque is invalid.
