As a Non UK Tax Resident, my wife sent it Tax Return Form by post before the deadline 31.10.2023 from Hong Kong. However, based on the Royal Mail Tracking Record, the Tax Return Form was received by Tyneside MC on 8.11.2023. So far, there is no more further message whether it has been delivered to HMRC New Castle. The message is always now due for delivery today. What should my wife do ? Should she need to send all relevant documents from Hong Kong with explanatory note regarding the late delivery caused by the local delivery ? Please advice
