Hi there, Just getting started on completing my 23/24 SA return. My 24/25 tax code has had some changes made to it to recoup adjustments for 23/24 that HMRC have estimated, so I'm paying tax for 23/24 in 24/25. When I complete my SA return, due to some EIS investments, I'm likely to have overpaid tax in 23/24, even before these adjustments were made to my tax code this year. How do I show these adjustments made based on HMRC estimate of 23/24 in my 24/25 payslips on my 23/24 SA return, as I don't want to end up paying tax twice? Thanks in advance!

Hi ,

In the section titled 'Underpaid Tax included in PAYE coding (Page 2 of 2)',

If the estimated figure is not correct, select 'no' and enter the amount of 23/24 tax being repaid through your 24/25 code.

Thank you .
