Hello, I've downloaded my prior year tax returns, which have 'Copy Only, Do not send to HMRC' diagonally across the page. Is it possible to request copies from HMRC without this being printed on it? I ask because I need to get the returns certified, apostilled and translated for submission to a foreign government tax office, and I'm concerned that the 'Copy Only' may cause eyebrows to be raised by the entities along the way - solictors, notaries or the ultimate foreign gov admins. Thanks for your advice.

Hi Elaine Slatter,
You can request paper copies from HMRC.
If you click 'Ask HMRC Online' and request to speak to an adviser you will be put into the queue for Webchat:

Thank you.
