An hour is the longest I have spent on the phone, each time it just cuts out. I cannot pay my full tax bill until February, I have tried to set up an online payment plan as I meet all the criteria and it says the same thing I need to call to discuss options, I understand this is the busiest time of year, and I should be more organised with my finances, I have paid over 2/3 of it, I just need an extra 3 weeks

We apologise that you are having difficulties contacting our debt management department to set up a payment plan.
As the deadline date for payments the helpline will be busier than normal.
As you are unable to set up online it will need to be the helpline that can assist you:
