Hi, I am struggling to find an answer to my query so hoping someone can help please! I have recently moved to a temporary contract at a new site. I understand that this is classed as a temporary place of work as it is only due to last around 6-9 months so falls well under the 24 month time. My usual place of work is ~50 miles from my house and the new contract is ~40 miles from my house. I will be going to site 5 or 6 days a week with only the occasional trip to the main office for meetings so know I can't claim for going there those days but just wondering if I can claim from home to site for the majority of the days since I will mainly be going there despite it actually being closer to home than my contracted work address? Thank you!
