Hello team, I am a British National (Overseas) Visa holder, and one of the visa conditions is no recourse to public funds. I would like to confirm if the tax-free nature of Stocks And Shares Individual Savings Accounts ( ISA ) is related to public funds or not, and as a British National (Overseas) Visa if I am eligible to apply for a Stocks And Shares ISA account if I have been living here as a resident continuously for more than 183 days. Many thanks. Kind regards, RL

Hi Wai Lun Lui,
No, this is not public funds.
You can apply for the ISA if you are a UK resident.
Thank you.
