Implications of cash gift

Hi - would be grateful of any help. I'm soon to migrate over to UC... my parents are to gift me 50k ( can be given before or after migration. I'd like to use this to repay my mortgage, pay off some debt ( 5k) and then either pay into my pension or pay into my Childrens JISA's can I do this without it affecting my claim? Many Thanks

Unfortunately we cannot say what effect this will have on UC on the forum. You will need to contact DWP for advice.
