British citizen working from abroad (non EU country) for an UK employer

I would like to work from India for a period of nearly 6 months in the upcoming tax year due to some personal reasons. I am a British Citizen currently working for an UK Employer. I was working with the same employer for the last 2 years. Will there be any tax/NI implications for me or my employer due to this work arrangement? Thank you in advance.
