Good day, Between 2017 and 2020 my son was in school in Full time education studying for his A levels but I did not claim child care benfit, with a knockon that I do not have NI credits for these years since they ended when he was 16. How do I go about claiming NI credits for this period given there is no record of childcare payments.

Hi Ian Cloke,
Unfortunately there are no available National Insurance Credits for childcare for a child over 16 years of age, this applies if your child was in full time education as well.
Thank you.
