Hi - I have recently paid off my student loan in full. Student Loan Company have contacted HMRC to confirm this has been paid, HMRC need to issue my employer with a Stop Notice. This has not been done. Who do I need to speak to at HMRC to arrange this? (the automated telephone agent cuts off the call whatever option I select).

Hi,

To check if the stop notice has been issued you will need to contact our Income Tax team.

Hi, I paid off my student loan in full five months ago but for the last four months I have continued to lose approximately £600 from my monthly salary in student loan deductions. The student loan company has promised me they have sent multiple stop notices to HMRC, however the employer has not received any. This is having a severe impact on my finances. Can this be investigated urgently please?
