Hi, I am in the £60k + bracket so at the moment receiving CB payments but having to repay via tax and having to do a self assessment tax return. I want to still claim for the CB so my wife who is only in part time work gets her full stamp for NI, but we don't want to receive the payments so as to avoid the need for self assessment TR. Does filling out the online form to stop child benefits payments, stop the entire child benefit? (i.e. the NI contributions as well as payments) or does it just stop the payments but leave in place the actual child benefit NI contribution? Thanks Dan

Im struggling to contact via the phone as I work between the contact hours and they are not open weekends. When i call on my break the queue time is over 20 minutes so I dont have enough time. I was hoping it was a simple query but it sounds like it isnt?
