Receive Maternity Allowance while being abroad

Hi, I have claimed MA (not SMP) successfully while I'm in the UK. I planned to visit my home country (Vietnam) for a few months and stay with my parents (just to visit, not to move , work or have treatment etc) while I'm on maternity leave. Will it affect my MA?
