Is the interest from an ISA paid into my current account with the same bank taxed? If not, how do I check that this is indeed the situation? How do you know that it is income from an ISA account and not any other type of savings account?

Hi,
If the interest is not paid into the ISA, then it is not covered by the protection of the account and therefore forms part of your personal savings allowance.
Thank you.
