Hi HMRC, I have already overpaid my Student Loan (postgrad), because my employer keeps deducting the amounts via payslip. I contacted SLC England and they said they sent you" a stop notice" on the 15th of March 2023. I checked with my employer and they said they haven't received anything. Can you please shed some light on this? Best, Simona

Hi, I have and they sent you notifications twice - one on the 15th of March and another one on the 9th of May. It's nothing to do with them - you need to ensure you pass it onto my employer, who haven't yet received it.

I am having exactly the same issue. @Symacka, did you get this resolved? @HMRC, I've spoken to SLC 8 times over the past 6 months, spent hours on the phone to them, and they've issued multiple stop noticed to you which haven't been passed on to my employer. @HMRC, can you please look into this urgently? I am having to request refunds for hundreds of £s every month and it's having a huge knock on impact on my other finances. Thank you,

Student loans have sent a stop notice twice now as student loan was finished being paid 3 months ago. My employer has not received this. I have spent hours trying to get through to HMRC and the automated assistant ends the call. Student loans have done what they can on their side of it, HMRC are not sending my employer the information which is needed.

Did this get resolved? I have the same issue, my student loan is paid in full but my employer has not received a stop notice from HMRC.
