How do I set up an account with HRMC to apply for the Non-Resident Landlord Scheme? During the setting up process, the system refuses to let me continue creating the account without a National Insurance number. As a non-resident and foreign national, I do not have a National Insurance number. Is there a way to create an account for foreigners?

Hi,
Non-resident landlords can apply to HMRC for approval to receive rental income with no tax deducted. They will need to submit an NRL1 form which can be completed here: What the Non-resident Landlords Scheme is
From this page click on the link for 'approval to receive rental income with no tax deducted'. You should be able to complete this without a National Insurance number.
Thank you.
