Hi, I've noticed my wife is earning 18,000 pa but I have been in receipt of her marriage tax allowance since 2017. We've been married since 2012. If I've over claimed in recent years can this be offset by legitimately claiming back to 2012?

Hi, Unfortunately, you can only backdate your claim for the previous 4 tax years. To cancel the transfer of Marriage Allowance, read more and apply here:
